Linda Coverdale’s translation of Patrick Chamoiseau’s Slave Old Man and Laura Cesarco Eglin’s translation of Hilda Hilst’s Of Death. Minimal Odes won the Best Translated Book Awards. The Warwick Prize for Women in Translation, now in its third year, went to Annie Ernaux’s The Years, translated by Alison L.
