Earlier this month, InStyle launched its first sweepstakes in partnership with Pinterest. The spring-themed contest is part of the magazine's push to focus on the platform, as it's the only one whose followers continue to grow, 22 percent year over year. "Our other social platforms are maxed out,” said Angela Matusik, InStyle’s executive director of digital. For publishers, Pinterest provides a "slow burn" of traffic for evergreen content, a reprieve from the competition to share newsworthy posts the fastest on Facebook and Twitter.
