Clarke has even roped in celebrity couple du jour Kim Kardashian and Kanye West to attend an on board bash in Cannes this week. However, there was no red carpet treatment for a media biz journalist from News Corps newspaper The Australian, who had his invite to Mail Onlines Monday night Cannes drinks rescinded at the last minute. Darren Davidson went quayside anyhoo and recorded a video in front of the Mail yacht, accusing it of barring him to avoid awkward questions about accusations of plagiarism and exploitation of young journalists. That would certainly have put a downer on an event where, according to Mail Onlines own seriously impartial reporting, media-buying executives were quoted saying things like Ive been to some wonderful conferences, and now Im on board this wonderful yacht its pretty glamorous.
