Sony's two tablets to ship in the autumn

Written By: Bookseller Staff Publication Date: Wed, 27/04/2011 - 09:15 Electronics giant Sony has unveiled two rival tablets that it hopes will target the Apple iPad market. Codenamed S1 and S2 the devices will not be available for sale until the autumn, but nevertheless boast, according to Sony, a "perfect combination of hardware, content and network with seamless usability for a high-quality, engaging entertainment experience". The Sony Tablet is equipped with Android 3.0. Both tablets will have WiFi and WAN (3G/4G). S1 has a 9.4-inch display, while S2 has two 5.5-inch displays that can be folded for easy portability. read more Continue reading at 'The Bookseller'
