Abrams snaps up SelfMadeHero

Written By: Bookseller Staff Publication Date: Thu, 13/10/2011 - 08:52 US art and illustrated publisher Abrams has announced it is to buy London-based graphic novel publisher SelfMadeHero, in a move that will see the SelfMadeHero imprint launched in the US. The purchase will be finalised in the next few weeks. Managing director Emma Hayley, who launched SelfMadeHero in 2007, will stay on in her role following the sale. Marketing director Doug Wallace will also continue in his role. Distribution in the UK and export markets will be handled by UK-based Abrams & Chronicle Books from April 2012. read more Continue reading at 'The Bookseller'
