Visitor numbers up 7% at LBF 2011 over ash-free 2009

The 2011 fair welcomed 24,802 visitors, up from 23,096 in 2009, with US visitors growing by 8% and international visitors overall up to 44% of the total (42% in 2009). Alistair Burtenshaw, director of publishing and books at Reed Exhibitions, said the fair, which celebrated its 40th anniversary this year, was "outstanding", with positive feedback from exhibitors, speakers and visitors alike. read more Continue reading at 'The Bookseller'
