Guinness World Records 2015 (GWR) is the UK's official Christmas number one. In the seven days ending 20th December, the annual tome of record-breaking achievements from across the globe sold 58,477 copies, a volume rise of nearly 12% week to week. This is the first time in over a decade that the compendium, which celebrated its 60th anniversary with the publication of the 2015 volume back in September, has claimed the coveted Christmas top spot. Since Nielsen BookScan began monitoring weekly book sales data in 1998, Guinness has reached the Christmas summit just once previously. Continue reading at 'The Bookseller'
