Stanfords travel shop has appointed Brian Finch to its board as finance director, amid a series of new appointments at the historic travel bookshop. Other appointments include Waterstones blog editor Dan Lewis, who will join Stanfords as marketing, events and PR manager. Finch, who has been working on a consultancy basis for the company for the past year, will now join the board as finance director and company secretary, and will be responsible for the financial management of parent companies Edward Stanford Ltd and Edward Stanford Group Ltd.
