Vintage to set illustrated Hare out of the traps

Written By: Charlotte Williams Publication Date: Mon, 05/09/2011 - 07:30 Chatto & Windus will publish an illustrated edition of its The Hare with Amber Eyes by Galaxy New Writer of the Year 2010 Edmund de Waal, hoping to attract Christmas gift buyers. The book will include more than 100 full-colour images, including photographs from de Waal's family archives and photos of the netsuke collection—his great-uncle's collection of Japanese wood and ivory carvings which are at the centre of the book—that have not been seen before.
