Stylist magazine marks 200th issue with Miranda Hart and Nigella Lawson

Free women's title is guest edited by BBC sitcom star, while TV chef 'reveals special 60s makeover' as its beauty directorThe 200th edition of free women's magazine Stylist, out this week, has been guest-edited by BBC star Miranda Hart and features contributions from Nigella Lawson, Lauren Laverne and Tracey Emin.Stylist, which has increased its UK circulation to more than 430,000 since launching four years ago and in April debuted in France, has given Hart overall editorial control helped by celebrities from the world of fashion, sport, food, design and art.Lawson is one of 29 celebrities that have contributed to the 200th issue, out on Wednesday – and available in London on Tuesday evening.In the edition, as guest beauty director, she reveals a "reveals a special 60s makeover inspired by her mother's own makeup regime".Stylists' publisher Shortlist Media said printing of the 200th issue was past the point that editorial alterations could be considered by the time allegations surfaced from a court case on Tuesday that the TV chef has taken cocaine and other drugs for years.Stylist distributes 430,000 copies to major UK cities on Wednesday each week, with about 50,000 available to London commuters on their way home on Tuesday evenings.BBC Radio 6 Music's Laverne is food editor and Emin interviews Joan Collins about her "life, loves and career".The Shortlist Media chief executive, Mike Soutar, said that none of the content of the issue was "ghostwritten" by PRs or...
