Telecommunications giant Spectrum Inc. is investing nearly $2 million in a Northern Kentucky facility ahead of a push to hire on 300 more workers. Spectrum, born from the acquisition of Time Warner Cable by Charter Communications (Nasdaq: CHTR), is investing $1.7 million in upgrades to its Florence call center at 7906 Dixie Highway, which it plans to expand to 400 employees from its current 100 as the company shifts all of its residential telemarketing to the facility.
