HarperCollins Children’s Books has acquired a YA trilogy from Derek Landy, the author of the Skuldugerry Pleasant series. The first book, Demon Road, is about a 16-year-old teenager called Amber and her friend Milo who undertake an epic road trip, encountering killer cars, vampires, undead serial killers and demons along the way. Demon Road will hit bookshops in hardback in September 2015 and books two and three, which are as yet untitled, will follow at six-month intervals. Continue reading at 'The Bookseller'
