Game Informer EIC Steps Down After 29 Years | People on the Move

[caption id="attachment_182388" align="alignright" width="150"] Andy McNamara[/caption] Last Friday was Andy McNamara's last day as editor-in-chief of Game Informer, ending a 29-year, 327-issue run at the video gaming magazine. "I started to look for something new to do and started talking to game companies just to see where I might fit and what I could do." Succeeding McNamara as EIC will be Andrew Reiner, himself a 26-year veteran of the magazine, who is being promoted from executive editor. Here are the rest of this week's people on the move... [caption id="attachment_182387" align="alignright" width="150"] Joyann King[/caption] At Hearst Magazines, Harper's Bazaar's digital executive editorial director, Joyann King, is shifting over to Town & Country and Elle Decor, taking on the new role of executive director of editorial business development for both magazines, where she'll serve as a liaison between the editorial and business teams, working directly with Town & Country editor-in-chief and Elle Decor editorial...
