Bloomsbury has a first novel from writer and filmmaker Hannah Rothschild, author of biography The Baroness (Virago). The Improbability of Love will be published by Bloomsbury on 21st May this year. Editor-in-chief Alexandra Pringle signed UK and Commonwealth rights in the deal with Sarah Chalfant at the Wylie Agency. Set in the London art world, the book follows a young woman who unwittingly buys a lost masterpiece in a second-hand shop, and becomes drawn in to a web of unscrupulous dealers and Russian oligarchs.
