Bertelsmann double profit to €94m

For the three months to 31st March, consolidated revenues increased to €3.63bn (£3.16bn) from €3.56bn (£3.10bn). While Bertelsmann did not strip out the sales of individual business wings, including Random House, it said "nearly all divisions contributed to this increase".
