Charlie and Lola, the characters in Lauren Child’s bestselling series, are set to appear on children’s tote bags as part of the industry-wide Books Are My Bag campaign this autumn. Author and illustrator Child will be designing the new bag, which will hit participating shops from 8th October this year, the same day Child releases her new title Charlie and Lola: One Thing (Orchard Books) which sees the return of the popular characters after six years.
