From the Limitations of Now, Philbrook Museum of Art, Tulsa, Oklahoma, March 14, 2021–September 5, 2021. The Philbrook Museum of Art in Tulsa, Oklahoma, has two exhibits this summer that connect with literature. The first, From the Limitations of Now, borrows its title from Oklahoma-born Ralph Ellison, author of The Invisible Man. The second, Dalí’s Alice in Wonderland, explores Salvador Dalí as illustrator of Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. A third exhibit, Views of Greenwood, explores the Tulsa neighborhood that was all but destroyed in the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre, the centennial of which is this year.
