Angry Birds creator Rovio is moving into the YA publishing sector with a new pirate adventure series. Storm Sisters is described as a “high action pirate adventure with a female twist”. It tells the story of five girls, aged 11 to 17, who sail the seas in 1780s looking for clues to why their parents died mysteriously. Storm Sisters: The Sinking World, written by Finland-based author Mintie Das, will be published in late 2015 or early 2016 and will be quickly followed by the second title, Storm Sisters: The Frozen Seas.
