YA novel Everything, Everything optioned for film

MGM has optioned the film rights to upcoming YA novel Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon. The production company struck a deal with publisher Penguin RandomHouse Children’s and has already hired J Mills Goodloe, the scriptwriter for Age of Adaline, to develop the project. The novel, which is due for release on the 3rd September, is Yoon’s debut novel about the relationship between Maddy and Olly, shown through vignettes, diary entries, texts, charts, lists and illustrations drawn by the author’s husband, David.
