WHS acquires 22 British Bookshops stores

The bookshops will continue to trade under BB&S until a "phased takeover" begins later this month in stores in Teddington and Southwick. Staff at the saved stores will keep their jobs. The South England-based chain went into administration in January, making 40 head office staff redundant Since then, the stores have offered heavy discounts to customers in order to clear stock. read more Continue reading at 'The Bookseller'
