United Agents' Canter dies

Canter began her publishing career as assistant fiction editor at Penguin Books in 1972, eventually working in children's book publishing at companies including Macmillan and Methuen, where she launched its teen paperback list in 1987. In 1989 she joined the agency PFD, building a list of children's writers and illustrators. She co-founded United Agents in 2008. read more Continue reading at 'The Bookseller'
