Tonto buys Inspiral Carpets memoir

Tonto publisher Stu Wheatman bought world rights direct from Hingley to the aptly-titled Carpet Burns. The title will be published on 22nd September as a B-format paperback. Inspiral Carpets rose to prominence during the vibrant "Madchester" scene of the late 1980s, along with The Stone Roses and Happy Mondays, enjoying 15 Top 20 hits along the way. read more Continue reading at 'The Bookseller'
