The Carlisle-based company said 30 positions will be affected, with only around 5% of employees opting for voluntary redundancy. The business has now entered into a period of consultation with staff after a year in which the c.e.o. of John Ritchie, Ken Munro, described revenues for 2010 as "less than planned".
