Sphere acquires actress Welch

Sphere has bought two novels by actress and television presenter Denise Welch. In her first deal for the list, deputy publisher for Sphere fiction Maddie West acquired UK and Commonwealth rights in two books from Gordon Wise at Curtis Brown. Welch has starred in programmes including "Coronation Street" and "Waterloo Road", and was also a regular panellist on "Loose Women".
