Profile signs 'radical' animal study

Profile Books has signed a "radical" book on the lives of animals by naturalist Charles Foster, who has attempted to live like the animals he studies. Being a Beast will recount Foster's experiences of emulating different animals, living like a badger in a hole in a Welsh hillside eating earthworms, catching fish with his teeth while living like an otter, and following the swifts on their journey to Africa. Publishing director Mike Jones bough world English rights including ebook, radio and audio in a pre-empt from Jessica Woollard at the Marsh Agency. Continue reading at 'The Bookseller'
