Portobello Books has acquired The Things We Lost in the Fire - a “chilling, compulsive” collection of gothic short stories - at auction. UK and Commonwealth rights to the collection, by Argentine writer Mariana Enriquez, were acquired by editor Anne Meadows from Sandra Pareja at Casanovas & Lynch.
