Nick Esson has died following an illness. Esson, who worked in academic book publishing for almost 40 years, passed away following a few months’ illness surrounded by his family on 20th February. Esson worked in senior sales positions, including for Allen & Unwin / Unwin Hyman, before setting up UCL Press, becoming marketing director. He founded Combined Academic Publishers in 1988, later advising the group on business strategy as chairman of the board. Continue reading at 'The Bookseller'
