Waterstones Newbury in Berkshire is to move to a new “stunning” 2,800 sq ft premises in June. The current store on Northbrook Street will stop trading on 8th May and reopen at Parkway, just a couple of minutes walk away, on 6th June. Waterstones said the new store will trade over one 2800 sq ft floor and feature a beautiful new light oak bookcase and slat wall design, with a “scrumptious new Waterstones Café with indoor and outdoor seating for 32.” All current Newbury branch staff will move over to the new Parkway store.
