Granta Books has acquired a further volume of memoir by former Costa Biography Award winning-author Diana Athill. Editorial director Bella Lacey acquired world rights to the book, titled Alive, Alive Oh! And Other Things That Matter, from Rebecca Carter at Janklow and Nesbit. Athill was a founding director of Andre Deutsch publishing house, as well as being a novelist and memoirist. Her books include Yesterday Morning, Stet and Somewhere Towards the End, which won the Costa Biography Award in 2008 (all published by Granta Books). Continue reading at 'The Bookseller'
