Legal action over Brent library closures

Law firm Bindmans sent a letter before action detailing a proposed claim for judicial review to the council's legal director on Friday (6th May). The claim argues that the council's decision to set a budget in February premised on the closure of the six libraries, when the consultation period on those closures did not end until 4th March, was unlawful. read more Continue reading at 'The Bookseller'
