Jay Fielden Succeeds David Granger as Esquire Editor

After nearly 20 years as editor of Esquire magazine, David Granger will leave his post on March 31, Hearst Magazines announced Friday morning. Mr. Granger will be succeeded as editor by Jay Fielden, who has served as editor of Town&Country magazine and will become editorial director there.Mr. Fielden has edited Town&Country since 2011, and from 2005 to 2009 served as editor of the now-defunct Men's Vogue."Jay has the intellectual curiosity, appreciation for style and sharp sense of humor that defines the Esquire brand," Hearst Magazines President David Carey said in a prepared statement.
