Faber has acquired journalist Emma Brockes’ new book, An Excellent Choice, which assesses the recent boom in women opting to be single mothers. Hannah Griffiths, publishing director at Faber, acquired the book from Sarah Ballard at United Agents. Faber and Penguin US will publish in spring 2017.
