Granta Books has signed two books from New Yorker writer Wendell Steavenson. Laura Barber signed rights from Anna Webber at United Agents, on behalf of Bill Clegg at the Clegg Agency, following an auction. The two books are Three Days in Paris, an on-the-ground account of the Charlie Hebdo attack and a portrait of the city in turmoil, and Circling the Square, a chronicle, involving memoir and reportage, of Cairo during the Egyptian revolution.
