E-book prices stable following VAT hike

E-book prices have remained stable five days after a new law came into effect charging an extra 20% VAT on ebooks from 1st January. A survey of ebooks by The Bookseller shows ebooksellers and publishers appear to have cushioned the impact of the VAT price rise on ebooks at least for now, five days into the new rule.
