Biteback Publishing will publish a biography of Cambridge spy Guy Burgess by Stewart Purvis and Jeff Hulbert. Purvis, a former editor-in-chief and c.e.o. of ITN last month reported for BBC's "Newsnight" on the discovery of footage of Burgess giving a television interview in Canada. Hulbert, a media historian, is the co-author with Purvis of When Reporters Cross the Line (Biteback). Their biography, Guy Burgess: The Spy Who Knew Everyone will be the first by British writers.
