Indie publisher Hurst is to release a book based on Osama Bin Laden’s audiotapes later this month. The book, titled The Audacious Ascetic: What the Bin Laden Tapes Reveal About Al-Qa'ida, is written by Flagg Miller, an associate professor of Religious Studies at the University of California at Davis. It centres on 1,500 audiotapes recovered from the Al-Qaeda leader's compound in Afghanistan which Flagg had exclusive access to and includes over a dozen of his previously unpublished speeches.
