Senior commissioning editor Sam Carter acquired world rights to Entanglement: The Secret Lives of Hair by Emma Tarlo, Professor of Anthropology at Goldsmiths, from Emily Sweet Associates. The book “recounts what happens when hair departs from the heads of its original owners, entering local and global economies before becoming affixed to heads in distant lands”.
