Zalaznick joins PRH board

Penguin Random House has appointed entertainment industry executive Lauren Zalaznick as the first independent board member of the company. Zalaznick spent 12 years at NBCUniversal in a series of positions and currently publishes the LZ Sunday Paper, a newsletter about women in business, media and culture. She is also a trustee of the corporation of Brown University in America, and sits on the boards of directors for music mobile app Shazam and on the industry trade group NATPE (The National Association of Television Program Executives).
