WLT to Host “Indigenous Literatures of the Americas” Event at Green Feather Books, by The Editors of WLT News and Events [email protected] Mon, 08/28/2023 - 15:10 World Literature Today, the University of Oklahoma’s award-winning magazine of international literature and culture, will host a book signing with Native writers Chelsea T. Hicks (Osage) and Oscar Hokeah (Cherokee/Kiowa) at Norman’s Green Feather Books on Friday, October 13 from 6-8pm. The event—co-sponsored by OU’s Center for the Americas, Department of English, and World Literature Today—will celebrate WLT’s “Indigenous Literatures of the Americas” issue, which launched yesterday online. Copies of the print edition are also available at Green Feather Books at 300 West Gray Street in Norman. Beginning with a reception and book signings by the marquee authors at 6pm, the event is free and open to the public. The gathering coincides with the 2nd Friday Artwalk for the month of October in downtown Norman. An informal program will begin at 6:45pm with a conversation between Chelsea T.
