The Boston Globe is using Notes to publish directly to Facebook

The Boston Globe may not be a Instant Articles publisher, but its turning to Facebook's Note's feature to create something close to it. The publisher on Tuesday started using Notes to publish directly to the Facebook platform. It hopes that the speed the articles load, along with their overall user experience, will keep readers clicking. Facebook seems to be putting more work into building Notes into a legitimate CMS, though it still has some work to do before it gets there. The feature doesn't yet support embeds from YouTube or even Instagram, though Boston Globe social media director Matt Karolian said it shouldn't be long before Facebook adds those as well.
