A woman who spent a summer working as an unpaid intern has filed a class-action lawsuit in New York against Sony Corp. of America, Sony Music Holdings and Columbia Recording Corp. over wages she says she should have been paid.The lawsuit was filed in state Supreme Court in Manhattan on Tuesday. The lawsuit is similar to ones filed by unpaid interns against other music companies and in other industries like magazine publishing.Plaintiff Britt'ni Fields says she worked as an unpaid intern from May 2008 to August 2008 but should have been paid under state labor law.Columbia is a subsidiary of Sony Music Holdings, which is part of Sony Corporation of America.
