The attraction for publishers is that they offer fraud-free, brand-safe environments at scale, and protect the yields of the partner publishers. Yet they can be a nightmare to pull off. The AOP's own alliance hasn't managed to start trading yet due to legal complications with trying to onboard so many partners.
