Phaidon Press has reported a 4.4% increase in annual turnover for the year to June 2014 due to a strong performance in the North American market. However, the company still reported a loss, which it attributed to increased investment in its business. Turnover at the arts, lifestyle and culture publisher was £21.3m, up from £20.4m the year before. While the company reported a loss of £1.2m for 2014, it had reduced that loss by £0.4m from £1.6m from the year before. Continue reading at 'The Bookseller'
