Cambridge University Press has boosted its Open Access (OA) programme to monographs, after launching a new service at the London Book Fair this week. The OA Monograph Publishing Service will enable CUP authors to print Gold OA monographs (which are freely available to the end user) for books of up to 120,000 words, for a charge of £6,500. The launch of the service follows two forays into OA monograph publishing last year: Jo Guidi and David Armitage’s The History Manifesto and Martin Paul Eve’s Open Access and the Humanities.
